In all the years I've used Slackware I kept wondering how I could use tagfiles to ease the install process. And all these years I've kept on using the traditional method of selecting packages by hand in the install interface. Being a lazy bastard this has allways left me with a feeling of discomfort.
So I decided that this would be the time to investigate tagfiles and installing via tagfiles.... and I did not like what I found. I found editing the tagfiles, there is one for each serie, is a tedious and tiresome job verry error prone. What I needed was a method of making a base to work from.This resulted in a better knowledge of tagfiles and an easy way to make them
